Easy Ways To Decorate Your Room

Hiya guys, Paige here. Today I am going to be sharing some easy ways to decorate your room. So lets get started.

1 . Picture/Ticket collages

I have printed out a load of my favourite pictures and put them on my magnet board and wall and it makes it more personal too than just buying things. I also have done this with tickets from shows and concerts as well as with train and theme park tickets.

2 . Photo stands/Frames

I have these banana photo holders that I got from Primark that are really cheap to hold photos from photoboths and cinema tickets. These are a different way to display my photos and also a really inexpensive way (the post where I talk about them). This can be done with photo frames too.

3. Fairy Lights

I know every room decor post/video includes fairy lights but I’m going to include them anyway. I got mine from Primark and they are warm white and star shaped. I talked about them in my post that I linked previously as well.

4 . Light boxes

Post going up at 5 tonight, make sure to check it out 💓

Comment any blog posts you want to see as I'm posting twice a week in summer 💫
I think they are called light boxes but they are really cute. I got mine from New Look and I think it was only £10.
5 . Sticker
You can either buy or make ‘tumblr’ stickers to use on you laptop/computer or on a mirror and they look really cute. You can probably buy them on ebay, or you can make them by printing of things you like of tumblr and then using tape over them to turn them into stickers or by using sticker paper.

What’s In My Backpack 2017/ Back To School Haul

Hiya guys, Paige here. Today I am going to be doing a back to school haul as well as showing you the other things I already have that will be in my backpack. I don’t know when most people go back to school but I had seen a lot of posts and videos like this before I had even finished for school so I know this post could be too late for some people.

My backpack for next year is an Animal backpack that I got from a surf shop when I was on holiday, I can’t remember what the shop was called however you can probably get it online of the Animal website. It’s a good size and will be different to what the majority of people will have.

The next thing I got was a SuperDry pencil case which is a dark blue and is a really good size as with most over pencil cases I’ve had I haven’t been able to fit my calculator in but this one I can.

Next for the things in my pencil case and bag. I get another set of Papermate black pens and a set of sharpie highlighters. I also got some coloured index cards for revision and a new maths set.

The rest of the things that will be in my backpack are stuff that I already had from last year. I have my pink calculator and my pink glue stick (its worth it even though it stains the paper pink). I also have some post it notes and pencils. I also have my two books that I have to learn for literature which are Macbeth and Jekyll and Hyde however I will only take them when I need them.

What to Do on a Lazy Day

Hi guys, Paige here. Today I am going to be sharing with you hair, make-up and outfits I like on lazy days as well as things I like to do when I have nothing else to do.

Hair:

On a lazy day I will normally leave it natural or put it into a messy bun. For a messy bun I will pull my hair to the top of my head, as if putting it into a pony tail but then only pull it half through the bobble and when wrapping the bobble round I twist it and pin any parts with hair pins. If I am leaving my hair natural I will either just leave it or put in the Vo5 curl defining mousse as I have curly hair. That is normally all I do because I don’t like doing my hair unless I’m going somewhere.

Make-up:

Even if I’m not going anywhere I will still normally do my make-up just because I like doing it. I will normally only do light make-up on top of my moisturizer. I start with primer and then lightly fill in my eyebrows. I use concealer under my eyes, a BB cream and powder. I will sometimes use bronzer and then finish it off with a setting spray.

Outfit:

On a normal lazy day I will either wear shorts or leggings and then either a jumper or t-shirt so that I am comfortable.

Things I like to do:

DIY Mango Smoothie

Hiya guys, Paige here. Today I am going to be sharing with you how to make a mango smoothie which I posted on my instagram yesterday (mylifemadepretty). This one is really simple to make and is really good.

18162036_1927649024188861_3891441499199504384_n.jpg

Ingredients:

Frozen mango cubes
Fresh orange juice
Ice cubes
Honey (optional)

There isn’t really any proper measurements that I use so you just have to do it by eye and add anything extra if needed. I put in some frozen mango to start with and to get the amount of smoothie in the picture I used about 5 cubes. It is up to you how much mango you put in as it depends on how much you want. Then I put some ice cubes in the blender, I normally just put 2 or 3 in. The I pour in some orange juice and make sure that it is up to the height of the ice and mango so that it won’t be too thick. Then I sometimes add a bit of honey into it but not a lot. Once you have done that blend it all together and put it into a cute glass and take artsy instagram photos. 🙂

Clothing Haul

Hiya guys, Paige here. So on Sunday I went shopping and so I thought that I should share what I bought with you as I love seeing clothing hauls. So let’s begin.

The shops where I bought all of the items from where H&M and Primark and I am obsessed with everything that I bought. The first thing I got was a cropped mauve ish coloured (doesn’t really look it in the picture) hoodie that has little rips in the sleeves and holes in the jumper. It is super cute and looks really good with jeans and leggings. I got this from primark and they also had it in like a bluey greeny colour too.

The next thing that I got was this dress that I don’t really know what style it is. It is sort of ribbed and like a jumper and is like a pencil dress I think. Anyway it is black with white around the neck and sleeve, it is also a really nice length and I can’t wait to wear it in summer with my superstars. I got this from H&M.

The next thing I got was a black cropped jumper that also has white round the neck and sleeve and also the bottom of it. It is a really nice fit and is longed sleeved which looks really cute and it was from H&M.

Processed with VSCO

The next thing I got which was also from H&M is a pair of grey skinny jeans. These have a rip on the left knee however you can’t really tell in the picture. I can never normally find skinny jeans to fit me well so these ones are perfect.

Processed with VSCO

The next thing I got was this super cute white t-shirt with black around the neck and sleeves that had four different lips on them which looks super cute. It is also super simple which I love and was also from H&M.

Processed with VSCO

The final thing I got was a simple grey t-shirt that has two lightening bolts on it and GRL PWR written on it (girl power). This was also from H&M and is really cute.

So that’s my clothing haul, I hope you enjoyed reading this because I enjoyed writing this one. Thank you for all the support I got on my last post, I really appreciate it as I didn’t expect anything from my first post back.

Flourless Pancakes

Hiya guys, Paige here. So as you may have noticed I have completely emptied my blog and instagram and have decided to start again so that I am happier with my blog and should hopefully blog more. So today I am going to be sharing with you how to make flourless pancakes. This makes about two pancakes depending on the size of the pan and how thick you make them. So let’s begin.

Ingredients:

-3 tbs of porridge oats
-1 egg
-1/4 cup of milk
-1 tsp of cinnamon
-As much sugar as you want
-Any toppings

Start by putting 3 tbs of oats into a blender and blend them so that it looks like flour. Then add in 1 egg, 1/4 cup of milk, a tsp of cinnamon and a bit of sugar and then blend all of that together. Once it is all blended together to look like pancake mix pour about half into a frying pan that has oil in the bottom so that it won’t stick. Then leave that to cook like any normal pancake and then cook the other side. Once it is done add any toppings that you want, I added honey, banana, raisins and sliced almonds.

So that is how to make flourless pancakes, if you have any other post request please comment them on this post or on my instagram (@mylifemadepretty) and I will try to do them.
