Blogmas Day 9: Winter Lipsticks

Hiya guys, Paige here. Today I am going to be sharing with you some of my ‘winter’ lipsticks. As I have have mentioned in previous posts I don’t really suit red lipstick, so some of these are more on the pink side but they would all work as christmas coloured lip sticks.

1) Jack Wills Lip Crayons

I have had these a while so I’m not sure if you can still get them but these came in a pack of four lip crayons with two light pink shades. The red one is a bright red and is one that I don’t really wear often but the other one is more dark pink which suits me more and would still pass as a christmas colour.

2) Tanya Burr Lipgloss

I got this in the Tanya Burr advent calendar and have already talked about it in a few blogmas posts. Again this one is more pink and suits me better than red would. It is one of her lip glosses in the shade cranberry melt and is really pretty.

3) M&S Lipgloss??

I’m not a hundred percent sure but I think this little lip gloss was from M&S. It isn’t a very dark red when you wear it like it is in the bottle and so is a more subtle red lip gloss. Again I’m not sure if they still do these as I got this a while ago.

The first picture was taken without the flash and the second was which shows the how glossy each of them are. From left to right they are the M&S one, the pinker Jack Wills lip stick, the red Jack Wills lipstick and the Tanya Burr lip gloss.

First Impression Review:

On the ninth I opened the ninth door of the Mad Beauty, Beauty and the Beast advent calendar. In this door was a rose scented hand cream. I don’t normally like anything rose scented but this isn’t very strong and I actually really like the smell of it.

The packaging on it is cute and, like the rest of the products in it, is a good size for an advent calendar.

Thank you for reading,

Bye for now,

Blogmas Day 6: Winter Beauty Essentials

Hiya guys, Paige here. Today I am going to be sharing with you some of my winter beauty essentials. These are just my top few beauty related things that I think are nice to have in winter.

1) Red Lipsticks :

Despite the fact that red lipstick doesn’t suit me I am still going to include as I will wear it at some point around christmas. Obviously it is a very christmassy colour and makes regular make-up a bit more festive.

This is the Tanya Burr lip gloss in the shade cranberry melt which I got in the Tanya Burr advent calendar. I did a mini first impression review in an earlier blogmas post if you want to know my opinion on it but this lip gloss is a little bit pinker and suits me more than a normal red lip stick would.

Lip Balm:

This one is pretty obvious but lip balms are pretty much essential in winter. I get really chapped lips and should probably use lip balm more often seen as I always forget.

I also have a nivea one which is my go to but I can’t find it so it isn’t in the picture. Also lets ignore that my baby p=lips ones are upside down.

Body Scrub / Moisturiser:

Another kind of obvious one and again another one that I should use more than I do. Body scrubs and moisturiser are essentials for the cold and are just nice all year round to be honest.

I use the Zoella body scrub which smell really nice and is in the biggest container. I also have the Body Shop mango body sorbet which actually smells amazing.

First Impression Review:

On the sixth I opened the sixth door on the Tanya Burr advent calendar. In this door was a silver glitter liner. I am going to be honest I didn’t own a liquid eyeliner until yesterday and that is because I have no chance at doing it right. I am definitely going to try and use and hope that I don’t mess it up too badly.

However the colour is very pretty and the packaging is so cute.
